We know that people are our greatest asset and that's why a career with us means much more than just a salary.
Staff Wellbeing is our Priority
Our employee voice platform, @engage, encourages staff to feedback on day-to-day activities through focus groups and suggestions.
Our health and wellbeing programme includes lunchtime yoga, a book club, five-a-side football, fitness classes, college choir and gardening club.
Our recent staff survey requested more college-wide social events and, in addition to our annual staff awards, we also hold a summer festival party for all staff to celebrate our achievements each year.
We have a dedicated Mental Health Lead to support both staff and students with their mental health to support our strategy to have an open and inclusive ethos around mental health.
Learning and Development
We have tailored learning and development to focus on supporting staff in their roles at the college and to build strong relationships with their colleagues. We hold several College Development Days per year.
One of our recent College Development Day themes was team building with staff enjoying pottery painting, city tours, escape rooms and treasure hunts.
