Throughout your journey from applicant to student on a Full Time Course at Gloucestershire College the Admissions Team will update you on some useful dates and deadlines over the coming weeks/months.
*Some dates are subject to change or confirmation, but these will be communicated to all applicants.
1st October – Applications Open
Applications for the following September (2025) Full Time courses open, enrolment (in August 2025) is prioritised on application date order so make sure you apply nice and early!
November – Open Evenings
Throughout November we do have Open Evenings at all our Campuses, this is a perfect way to see the college, meet the tutors and you can also make an application with the Admissions Team.

This event at our Gloucester Campus runs every year and is a chance to come and meet over 40 employers taking on Apprentices!

31st March is our recommended application date, we do take applications after this date, but they are considered later. We can never guarantee a place on a course applying before or after 31st March but applying before this date does put your application in a strong position in the enrolment queue.
12th May – Open Evening (Gloucester)

We have a deadline to confirm your First Choice to be fair and transparent to all applicants. If you have applied for more than one Full Time course, then we will ask you to confirm your First Choice and we will send plenty of reminders!
First choice course FAQs 21st August – GCSE Results Day
Make sure you remember this date; this is when you will receive your GCSE Results from your School! We will also need a copy of them but don’t worry, closer to the time we will send you information on how to upload a copy to our pre-enrolment portal.

GCSE Results Day FAQs 25th August – Bank Holiday Monday
The bank holiday in August is the deadline to make sure you have uploaded your GCSE Results and confirmed your details on the pre-enrolment portal as we begin enrolling on 26th August. We will make sure leading up to the 25th you have all the information and guidance you require to complete your pre-enrolment steps.
26th August to 2nd September – Enrolment
During this week we will enrol applicants who have completed their enrolment steps, we will send you some useful information closer to the time.

This is subject to confirmation, but term is due to begin on Wednesday 3rd September, this is subject to your enrolment and timetable.
26th September – Last Day to Apply for September 2025*
This is subject to confirmation but the last day to apply for a Full-Time course that begins in September is due to be Friday 26th September.
