Yes, if you are looking to come back to GC in September 2025 you will need to apply online here for the course you wish to study next year. If you no longer have access to the email address you originally registered your account with, we recommend you register a new account with your new email address, and we will merge your accounts together for you.

Applications are open now! We enrol on a first come first serve basis which is why it is important to apply as soon as possible. We recommend applying before 31st March 2025 to give yourself the best chance of securing a place on your chosen course.

You can apply for multiple courses, including apprenticeships and Full-time courses. We recommend you do not apply for more than five courses. Please note if you are applying for an apprenticeship you will need to secure an employer yourself, therefore we encourage you to also apply for a Full-time course.

You will need to confirm which course, out of your existing applications, you want as your First Choice Course to take forward to enrolment by 31st July 2025.

No, we only have a First Choice Course. If at enrolment, you have not met the conditions our academic team will contact you to discuss alternative levels or courses.

No, an Apprenticeship is different to a Full-time course. You need to have secured yourself an employer, if you have, we will work with our Apprenticeship Team to make sure you enrol to the correct course in September but recommend you keep engaging with your Full-time course as a ‘back-up’.

Enrolment takes place from Tuesday 26th August 2025 following completion of your online enrolment portal steps.

Please do not come to the campus, enrolment is done virtually. You will not need to come to college until term begins which is from Wednesday 3rd September (subject to your timetable).

Enrolment is prioritised on application date order starting with those who applied from October 2024 through to September 2025 and completion of the enrolment steps.

If you are under 19 and have not achieved a Grade 4 in Maths and/or English you do not need to apply for this, we will add this to your timetable when you are enrolled.

As a current/progressing student you will need to meet the following conditions:
Completed and achieved the main qualification you are currently studying with us.
And
Where relevant made positive progress with any English and Math qualification you are currently studying with us. Please note attendance and engagement at English and Maths sessions and the exams will be taken into consideration when decisions are made about progression.
And
Evidenced an appropriate level of engagement whilst studying with GC - we will consider, for example your attendance, behaviour, assignment completion and deadline submission.
And
Engaged positively in any pre-course assessment activity, for example assessment days, initial assessments for English and Maths and any other course-based activities requested by academic teams
Please note that these are the minimum entry criteria, and you should aim to achieve the target and/or aspirational grades set by your college/school, particularly in English and maths. This will demonstrate that you are the type of engaged and motivated learner that we want attending our courses.

Yes, we ask all applicants to complete this every year. This allows us to put any additional maths and/or English support in place once you start. It also shows us you are willing and actively engaged with enrolling back at GC.

We reserve the right to add additional pre-assessment activities, such as assessment days. If you are asked to attend such an event, we will email you with all the details. Please note failure to attend could result in your application being withdrawn due to non-engagement.

You will receive your timetable once you have been officially enrolled. Our main enrolment period is the last week in August and the first week in September.

There will be a transfer window available to current students. When you start, you'll meet your Student Mentor who can support this change for you.
