Course Overview

Part Time
Certificate

Discover your creative side in a relaxed and supportive environment. This course is designed for anyone looking to explore drawing and painting in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Whether you dabble in watercolours, love the versatility of acrylics or prefer the simpler pencil sketch, there’s something for everyone. You’ll experiment with pencils, charcoals, inks, and paints to refine your skills and start creating pieces that reflect your unique style, all with expert guidance and plenty of encouragement along the way.

Enjoy the process, learn new techniques, and watch your art grow in your own style at your own pace.

What you’ll learn

You’ll start with drawing warm-ups and exercises to develop observation skills and refine technique before working with a variety of mediums, including pencil, charcoal, graphite, and pen and ink, gradually building confidence and control. Once comfortable, you’ll progress to painting, experimenting with watercolour, acrylics, or mixed media, all to help transform your work and explore your hobby.

The tutor will provide guidance, support you in setting achievable goals, and allow you to develop your own artistic flair. There’ll also be time to explore your personal projects in a friendly, supportive environment.
