Creative writing encourages people to choose their words, metaphors and images in a way that really captures what they’re trying to convey. This creative decision-making can lead to increased self-awareness and self-esteem as well as improved mental health.

Creative writing is said to be helpful in decision-making and stress relieving, improving mental health and can help with the below psychological factors:

  • Gaining mental clarity
  • Increasing self-esteem
  • Improving attention span
  • Expressing feelings
  • Enhancing and boosting creativity
  • Strengthening memory
  • Fulfilling your career ambitions
  • This course is aimed at those who are aged 19 and over (as at 31st August of the academic year you are applying for) who are looking to improve their skills to move into work or progress into more sustainable employment.
