This course is suitable for students who have completed the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
In this qualification you will cover higher accounting tasks including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance, as well as optional specialist units including business tax, personal tax, external auditing, credit management, and cash and treasury management.

You will undertake computer based assessments for all units.
In addition to attending college, students will be expected to undertake at least 6-10 hours additional study out of college.
Students are responsible for paying their AAT annual registration fee, and the cost of text books.
This qualification is aimed at those aged 19 (as at 31st August of the academic year) or over who have completed the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
All applicants will be required to complete a short assessment form to ensure the correct level of study.
Once students have completed their AAT studies they may be eligible for exemptions from the foundation stage examinations of the UK Chartered accountancy bodies (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAEW) or they may wish to study for a Foundation Degree in Business or for a Full Degree.
