This apprenticeship Standard is aimed at experienced Middle Managers who are looking to develop strategic skills. It supports those inputting to strategic planning, creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, supporting people through coaching and mentoring.
Delivery model and duration:
Training is delivered in the workplace. This is complimented by remote delivery where applicable..

Up to 24 months plus 5 months end point assessment

End Point Assessment
Through the Chartered Institute of Management, the End Point Assessment will test the entire
standard, and be undertaken as follows:

GCSEs in English and Maths A-C (9-4) and must have at least three years of management experience.
On achievement of end point assessment with the Chartered Management Institute, apprentices can
apply to become a Chartered Manager.

Gloucestershire College is connected to a number of businesses and throughout the year you will get the chance to see how real businesses operate. Previous work-related activities have included trips to Amazon and Sky headquarters and business planning with RBS.
