Are you wanting to take your chef skills to the next level? The Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification is ideally suited to those wanting a career change, to improve their current skills and have less time to commit to training?
The Level 3 takes place 1 day per week over a 1 year period and suits people with either lots of experience in the professional kitchen or those who have achieved a level 2 course in Professional Cookery.

Entry Requirements
Typical Entry Criteria
Any relevant Level 2 qualification must be translatable to the current qualification structure delivered and verified by the College
You must be aged over 19 at the start of the academic year.
Entry to the course is subject to satisfactory completion of an online Professional Course Assessment that will be sent to you following an application. You will need to demonstrate a good standard of English language, relevant experience, industry knowledge and ability to work at the required level for this course.

You will gain relevant industry experience by working at GC’s commercial restaurants, which include The View Restaurant at our Forest of Dean Campus, and Number One Restaurant at our Cheltenham Campus.
You’ll also get plenty of real-world experience attending and running events around the county, which may include large functions and corporate events.
