Director of Apprenticeships and Employer Training, Julie Tegg, said: “We are delighted to be named a finalist in this year’s apprenticeship awards. Thanks to our industry-expert trainers, bespoke programmes accredited by leading bodies and new training suites created with employer input, we provide businesses with cutting-edge training solutions that are flexible and responsive to skills gaps.
“As always, the success of our apprenticeship programmes lies largely with our dedicated teams at the GC Business Hub, so I would like to thank them all once again for their hard work and look forward to celebrating with them on awards night!”
Over 45 apprenticeship programmes to choose from
At Gloucestershire College, we offer an exciting array of apprenticeship programmes alongside our full and part time courses. With over 45 programmes to choose from in everything from Motor to Hairdressing, Business Administration, Surveying, HR and Marketing, there really is something for everyone at any level. Our apprenticeships start at Level 2 and progress all the way up to Degree level.
Anyone aged 16 or over can complete an apprenticeship, not just school leavers, and there is no limit to what you can achieve. Our apprenticeship programmes start throughout the year so there is no need to wait for September to apply.
To apply for an apprenticeship, find your programme of interest on our website and apply online. If you aren’t sure which programme is right for you – get in touch with our friendly apprenticeship team by emailing: apprenticeshipvacancies@gloscol.ac.uk.
You can also view our live vacancies and apply directly if you spot an opportunity that ticks all the boxes for you. But you don’t need to wait for a vacancy to come up before you apply for an apprenticeship programme with Gloucestershire College. Make sure you get an application in by applying online for the apprenticeship of your choice so you are registered with the College. We have employers come to us looking for apprentices all year round. We encourage all prospective apprentices to be proactive and search for an employer themselves, but our team is here to support you every step of the way to help you find an apprenticeship. Check out our apprenticeship guide for top-tips!
If you are an employer looking to recruit an apprentice, you can get in touch with our Business Hub team via: employer.training@gloscol.ac.uk for expert advice and to access our quality candidate pool.
