Check out the latest Covid policy update for Gloucestershire College students.

The Prime Minister has announced the removal of final Covid restrictions as part of their plan: Living with COVID

As a result of these changes, normal absence procedures now apply.

If you feel unwell

If you feel unwell, particularly if you have a high temperature, you should stay at home until you no longer have a high temperature, and you feel well enough to attend.

You should report your absence to your tutor and student mentor, making sure that you catch up with any work missed when you are well enough to do so.

If you get a positive Covid test

If you are under 18, it is unlikely that you will be tested for COVID unless directed to by a health professional.

If, however, you do get a positive Covid test result you should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days after the day you took the test. After 3 days, if you feel well and do not have a high temperature you can return to college.

If you live with someone who has a positive Covid test result you should continue to attend college as normal.
