Meet Chloe Ferns AAT Student
Meet Chloe Ferns AAT Student
We recently caught up with adult student Chloe Ferns, to talk about all things AAT. Not only has Chloe completed Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting, she has now progressed on to the Level 3 AAT Diploma in accounting and studies around her full-time job by attending on-campus evening classes.

1. How has your experience been with GC so far?

“My experience has been great so far, the evening classes work around my full-time job and my teacher has been very helpful. He also provides us with extra papers to read up in our own time to give us more knowledge when it comes to our exams.”

2. Do you feel supported by your lecturer?

"Yes, although I attend an evening class, my teacher is always contactable via email during the day if we have any queries. He also provides us with various materials such as practice papers, AAT website links and lesson notes to help us build our knowledge."

3. Why did you choose the on-campus route and how did this benefit you?

"I chose to study on-campus as I knew I’d have a lecturer on hand if there was anything I was unsure of. It also motivates me more, having a set routine and classmates around for help."

4. Would you recommend GC for AAT and why?

"Yes, I would. I also studied my AAT Level 2 in the evening at GC as I believe the lecturers are very knowledgeable and the times work around my full-time job. GC had several options available for AAT whether that be a day or evening class so I could make it work around my lifestyle."

5. What do you plan to do next, whether that be study a higher level or use your current qualification to progress in your career?

"Completing the level 3 will help me to progress in my career by opening doors to opportunities that I currently don’t have the experience in, I will then be looking to continue and study at a higher level."

6. Why did you decide to progress from level 2 to level 3 and how did you find this transition?

"I decided to progress on to the level 3 as not only will it help me in my career but help me obtain a higher salary. This will give me a better standard of life in the future as well as give me more confidence and knowledge in my current role."

We can’t wait to see what Chloe achieves next. Best of luck for your future success!
