The college is closed for the festive period. Applications made during this time will be processed, and updates will be sent when we reopen on Thursday 2 January. For safeguarding, mental health and welfare concerns, help is still available on our safeguarding page

Student Support

GC is committed to working with employers to ensure you have as much experience as possible during your time with us. On full-time courses, you will take part in work experience and projects with employers to improve your skills and employability.

You’ll have the opportunity to personalise your study programme by engaging with a wide-range of teams to support your development.

Student Mentors

Student Mentors support full-time students throughout their journey at GC. They will help students to be safe, successful and stay on-track. The support they give was highly acknowledged in our Ofsted report and is key to students attending classes and succeeding on their course.

Employability

We have a dedicated Employability Team across our three campuses that can assist students in finding external work experience and complete their continuous professional development (CPD) hours.

Enrichment

Alongside your chosen course and study programme there are lots of opportunities to get involved in a vast array of extra-curricular activities. These activities allow you to make new friends; learn and develop your interests, skills and talents; and most importantly, have fun!

Enrichment clubs allow you to discover new passions and test your skills. If you would like to introduce something new, we can support you on establishing your own society too!
